Dr. Tamayo earned her medical degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic and completed her training in Pediatrics at Lincoln Medical Center affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City where she also served as a chief resident.

She is board certified and has a special interest in newborn care, breastfeeding/nutrition and skin conditions. Prior to joining All Starr Pediatrics, Dr. Tamayo worked providing Pediatric services in Bronx, NY.

In her spare time, Dr. Tamayo enjoys spending time with her husband and her 2 year old son, visiting new places, cooking foreign foods and designing. Dr. Tamayo is fluent in English and Spanish.
